Mild Steel and Alloy Billets
Steel Billet
Mahamaya Corporation manufactures and supplies various types and grades of billets, including square billet, rectangular billet, round billet, slab, bloom, plain carbon steel, alloy steel, special steel and so on
The billet is the product obtained after the molten steel made by the steelmaking furnace is cast. Steel billets can be divided into two types from the manufacturing process: die casting billets and continuous casting billets. Continuous cast steel billets and rectangular billets are mainly made of plain carbon steel, low-carbon and low-silicon cold-rolled materials, high-quality carbon structural steel, and low-alloy steel. High-strength steel, special steel grades, etc. are representative. The die casting process has been basically eliminated.
There are two main types in terms of appearance:
Slab: The ratio of cross-section width to height is large, and it is mainly used for rolling plate.
Billet: The cross-section width and height are equal, or the difference is not big, and it is mainly used for rolling section steel and wire rod.
Standard ASTM, DIN, ISO, EN, JIS, GB, etc.
Size: 50*50mm-200*200mm, or as required
Length: 6m-12m, or as required
Surface Black, Pre-galvanized, or as your requirement.
Application Steel billet is originally steel. After processing, it can be used as mechanical parts, forgings, Carbon structural steel, wire rod, deformed bars, profile steel, machine parts, steel moulds, and processing various steels, profile steel, channel steel, and wire rods.
